Job Description: We're looking for a show marketer who is forward-thinking in developing and executing marketing strategies for concerts across the Midwest. The ideal candidate will be able to manage budgets through digital, radio, grassroots, and other paid advertising. Experience with ad buying, budget management, and copywriting are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute marketing plans
  • Place advertising across digital platforms (META, X, Google, Spotify etc.) and radio
  • Discover target audiences based on previous data for best marketing and advertising tactics
  • Write copy and compile assets for digital ads
  • Connect and work with local businesses on show promotions

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of marketing and/or digital ad placing experience
  • Proficiency in G-Suite
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize daily workload with multiple shows of varying deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with buying advertising across a mix of platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite for minor video editing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Booking Coordinator Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about the music industry and eager to learn the ins and outs of concert booking and event coordination. As a Booking Coordinator Intern, you will work closely with our talent buyer to manage event calendars, coordinate with artists and their teams, and assist with the logistical aspects of putting on successful shows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Calendar Management: Assist in maintaining and updating event calendars, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between First Fleet Concerts and agents, artist management, and internal teams to facilitate smooth event planning.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the internal team to coordinate show and event details, including venue logistics, ticketing, and promotional activities.
  • Show Announcements: Coordinate with artist teams and internal marketing teams to schedule and execute show announcements across various platforms.
  • Contract Management: Assist in the review and organization of contracts and agreements with artists and vendors.
  • Budget Monitoring: Support the talent buyer in tracking budgets and managing financial risk for each event.
  • On-Site Assistance: Provide support during events, ensuring all aspects of the show run smoothly.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on current trends in the music industry to help identify potential booking opportunities.
  • Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks as needed, including email management, scheduling, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for music and the live event industry.
  • Experience with calendar management tools (e.g., Google Calendar).
  • Proficient in email communication and formal correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with financial risk management and budget tracking.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
