Lauridsen Amphitheater FAQ
There is no box office prior to show day. At door time, the box office will be open for tickets if not sold out and is located to the right of the main gates. It is cash only.
All concert attendees will need a ticket.
A form of ID is required for pick up at the box office at door time.
No. We love our pets too, but please don’t bring your animals into concerts. Service animals are welcome.
Generally, for events, Parking Areas A, B and or C will be activated for car parking based on conditions and event size. Check parking maps associated with each individual event. There will also be designated Uber, Lyft and Taxi drop-off in the DMWW Administration Building Parking Lot at 2201 George Flagg Parkway and handicap parking are available in the parking lot closest to the venue. Bike valet will also be available for larger events. Look for directional signs as you approach the park.
Car parking is $10 cash only.
Yes. ADA drop off and Handicap Parking will be available for all events. Paved and gradually slopped paths lead to all designated seating areas. A designated wheelchair seating area along with space for a companion chair (bring your own lawn chair) will be made available at each show.
Lawn chairs, blankets, refillable water bottles.
No weapons of any kind. No umbrellas or wagons. You cannot bring food or beverages into the ticketed area for concerts, although you can bring them to the free community events such as the Des Moines Symphony and Belin Quartet performances. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
In case of severe weather, there will be an alternate location announced.
Yes. Food and drink vendors will be located within the venue grounds.
